Summer Series - Fancy Fingertips

I love me a good mani/pedi and, when I actually have a second to take care of myself, love experimenting with different polishes to create a different look every time. Reds and pinks have always been on my radar, but this summer will bring modern variations of the classic polish colors that are tried-and-true. Try a new color this season that has the same tone as your fave shades with a twist!

If you love a ruby RED nail, try a hue with a pink undertone like Conquistadorable Color by OPI:

If you err on the side of NEUTRAL, then try a greyish mushroom tone like Playa Del Platinum by Essie:

If you have PINK on the brain, then try a cool coral-y pink with a tropical feel like Sensual by Jessica:

If BLUE is your hue, then Chanel's Nouvelle Vague will brighten up your digits:

If METALLIC is your thing, MAC makes the perfect gunmetal hue called Nightfall:

Summer Series - Sunglasses

Since spring is almost over, it's time to start thinking about the warm weather essentials that will be turning my winter drab into sunny summer fab! This season, I will be putting together a "Summer Series" that will focus on what's hot for the upcoming months. The first accessory I will be focusing on is sunglasses, which are pretty much year-round essentials (I like to think so, at least). The hottest summer sunglass trends are cat-eye, colored and horn-rimmed styles that have been resurrected from seasons past. I'm On A Boat

Paris Hilton's latest endeavor has been revealed. Her plans for the summertime? "I'm just going to be on a yacht. Summer must have? A yacht." Oh, to be rich without obligations. I, too, would spend my days sunbathing on the open seas in my maillot, sipping on any imbibing substance, snacking on ceviche and oysters on the half shell... Yes, I would live it up in head-to-toe chambray. Seersucker, even. If I had it my way, I would love to spend sunny days relaxing and maxing on one of these sexy schooners.

Sandra Bullock's New Orleans Home

You go, girl! Get out of LA and decompress in this palatial Louisiana pad. The Victorian manse AKA the Koch-Mays house boasts a DOB of 1860 and has five beds, four-and-a-half baths and 6,615 square feet for baby Louis to play in. Jaw-dropping chandeliers decorate each room, including the grand foyer and formal dining room. Check out the historical architectural details like the coffered ceilings and dramatic moldings around the home's many arched doorways. Bullock dropped $2.25 million on this estate, which she bought with now-estranged husband Jesse James. Looks like a special place for America's Sweetheart to unwind and keep it cool after a high-profile divorce and adultery scandal.

Fairy Tale Footwear - Christian Louboutin Fall 2010 Look Book

The outlandish whimsy of Christian Louboutin's Fall 2010 look book pays homage to the fantastical and sometimes macabre aesthetic of cartoon fairy tales. Taking cues from Alice in Wonderland and the dark fantasy of ticking clocks and a panicked rabbit, this concept adds a romantic element to shoe appreciation. From the looks of it, Louboutin's Wonderland is a sought-after destination, one where you may never find your way out. Not that you'd want to...
