Hearty Holiday Entertaining

There is nothing I would rather do when the weather gets cooler than entertain my friends with a home-cooked meal. After making a delicioso glazed lemon cake last night, I was inspired to put together an autumn-inspired dinner menu that opened up my appetite by just looking at their pictures. Which one of my lovely lady friends is ready for a pre-holiday treat??

Authentic German Pumpkin Soup in a Pumpkin (Kurbissouppe)
Roasted Beet Wedges with Champagne Vinegar
Zucchini Noodles with Basil Almond Pesto
Wood Smoked Polenta with Baby Artichokes and Crispy Chicken
Seared Organic Salmon, Sundried Tomato-Mascarpone Orzo, Charred Tomato Battuto
Double Chocolate Tarts with Almond Cream Butter and Marsala Fig

Apple Clafoutis with Custard Cream Dressing

  1. I was thinking to myself.... if that is the type of food you are prepared to cook, I wish you were my neighbour!!!! You go girl! It all looks so delicious... in fact, in Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend. Any chance of you cooking it up and sending it by Fed/Ex? just kidding LOL
