Here Came The Brides

I love weddings. I love everything about them. I often joke (ok, it's highly probable) that I will cut down my guest list in order for my budget to accommodate my wedding dress. Fortunately for a few lucky gals this weekend, their bank accounts were able to take on the designer dresses that they donned down the aisle. Chelsea Clinton, Alicia Keys and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle all got married this weekend and chose three completely different gowns that complemented their unique personalities.

Chelsea looked stunning in her Vera Wang gown as her father walked her down the aisle towards her fiance, Marc Mezvinsky. It was an affair fit for American royalty and she really played the part well. She has always been graceful and elegant even in her awkward stages. Congrats to her!

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats were also married this weekend amid much media speculation about their unconventional union. They began dating when Swizz filed for separation from his wife and dated throughout his divorce proceedings. They were finally married when his divorce was finalized. Yes, she is pregnant with his child and she looked every bit the bohemian bride in her column dress, hippie-chic headgear and organic bouquet.

And, finally, the hip-hop union of the century took place on Star Island in Florida where rapper T.I. married longtime girlfriend Tameka Cottle. The extravagant details and show-stopping gown are perfect for their high profile personalities.

Merci beaucoup!
